“I’m John Gaskell originally from North Yorkshire, I have had a varied career from being a postman to a marine engineer as well as running my own businesses in demolition and architectural GRP cladding. Having worked on some of the biggest sites in the U.K. including the Trafford Centre, the Metrocentre, Bluewater centre in Kent, Lakeside in Thurrock and Meadowhall to name a few.

I am currently the Contracts and Development Director of the MillfieldGroup of companies in Newcastle specialising in the design manufacture and installation of Architectural GRP feature cladding from concept to delivery. One of my recent projects is the Spanish City development in Whitley Bay of which I am particularly proud.

Away from work I have a broad sphere of interests which include the collecting and restoration of military vehicles, as well as boats and all things mechanical.
